Ferreras, standing in front of the bonfire's remnants, explains some of the politics behind the Knoll Aid protest. Yesterday's event was advertised on the walkway between UBC's student union building and the pool. Norouzi laughs now that he has been released from police custody. Students walk through Trek Park where last night's Knoll Aid protest was held and 26 of their fellow students were arrested. Students told Ferreras, at last night's protest, that they built this dome from the windows of the old bus shelter.
So after the parkour bit Joseph and I still needed to knock off a couple more assignments. I had read online at CBC's website about the UBC students getting arrested.
Oscar found a home. Not my home, my roommates' cat would eat him. Preparing to fight. So beautiful, I wish I could take the red finned one home... Uh, I've never really liked the idea of birds as pets or even birds. Not a bird fan. Let them be free, the creepy-crawlies and the slithery ones too.
Going back in for question and answer period. Kristen and Angela. Sandy, Cori and Keira. Cori, I had another photo of the same but you weren't picking your teeth and you weren't smiling. Angela looking sassy. Shhh...
Jessica and Alicia. Nick, I think you are the one laughing here. Dave and the plate of sandwiches he would eat (with some help) Joseph and the lens flare. Well done Sandy.
Maggie and her stylin' new do. A taste of my own medicine. I think Val was sitting on my camera for this. Thank you Jessica. Aimee and Nathalie. Aimee enjoying lunch.
My journalism class went to Victoria today to watch q&a in legislature. It was a lively day to catch it. Today was the first session after John Les stepped down as B.C.'s solicitor general.Inside the Legislature. Even blondes need love--right Jessica? Nathalie and Val (named after her MLA, not our teacher). Uh, a bench. Alex.
Saturday, early in the a.m., in West Van, but not early enough. Joseph and I were out trying to find a parkour class. Uh, I found this building and really liked the old balconies. What can you do?
