Day 24

My parents are preparing to sell their house. I spent all day looking at granite samples and tile possibilities and my mom's "staging" ideas. Today was visually distressing.

Maybe next weekend, when I go back, I will take photos and get feedback on which granite goes with the tiles.

My parents and I travelled across town to a friends' house for dinner. I did take my camera but took no photos.

Instead I twirled in circles with a three-year old as she sang me "ring around the rosey." We also sat on easter grass waiting for the Easter bunny... or eggs? I'm not sure.

The three year old's uncle was an old swimming friend of mine that I hadn't seen in seven years. I'd forgotten how bloody funny this kid was. We drank with our families and his wonderful fiancé.

I do not wish to publish photos of myself doing such things. Maybe if I loosen up I will get the courage in the future.
