a photo a day challenge...

Challenge:

A minimum of one new photo a day.

I am posing this challenge to myself because I am a photographer, having graduated with my degree in photography from Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in 2005.

Since then I have worked as an underwater photographer and videographer in the Caribbean and an entertainment photographer for an online magazine in Vancouver.

I attempted to go back to school for journalism in hopes to marry the two disciplines. Although, journalism had some insight to offer it made me realize how much I need to be an artist.

My personal photography practice had begun getting lazy and uninspiring and so I presented myself this challenge.

In these ruts there is only one way I get through all the crap and that is by getting it all out. Only then can I start challenging myself and honing my own practice.

Thank you for spending time with my images.

x
